Joanne Devereaux has worked for over 20 years as a photographer. Since 2000 she has been living in the Bay Area where she was inspired to begin the documentary series "Becoming American". These photographs are a departure from her previous work as a large format photographer of landscapes and architecture.
She has lived and worked in Boston, Massachusetts along with Pennsylvania and Georgia. Her landscape and architectural photographs can be seen on her website:
